okokok!!! i wanna talk about something wayyy awesome!!! i heard these few stories today n i think it really uplifted my spirits hahaha..so i would b really happy to share it with u guys, hope u guys can enjoy it as much as i do!
Bricks
There was a person that wanted to build a house. As he was so poor, he could only afford the building materials, so, he had to learn how to build the house all by himself, the cement mixing, plumbing, and the foundation of the house. When the time came to build the walls, he started laying the bricks for the wall. As he was not a professional at this it was a rather difficult task. Because everytime he put a brick down, then the air in the cement will make it float up, so he had to press it down so that it would be the same height with the other bricks. However, whenever he pressed that brick down, the air in the cement would push the neighbouring brick up, and it would become really frustrating to keep everything even. Finally when he finished the wall, he stood up, took a step back and to the horror of horrors, he noticed two bricks in the middle of the wall which were uneven. He was so upset with himself. Just then, a person passed by and said, "wow…what a beautiful wall"..and at that moment, he noticed that he had been so busy being angry at himself, focusing on the 2 uneven bricks, that he forgot to see the other 998 bricks which were laid perfectly even.
Now, as u all know, nowadays our modern society, u get to see some construction workers work, and sometimes theres something funny about the building they build, like a bump here, or something uneven there, but then these are also known as the features of the building. Infact, ppl even pay these workers more to make their house so unique! haha..so what im trying to say here is, if in life, it is normal that we make certain mistakes. Because these mistakes are like the 2 bricks, the uneven ones that make it so unique, these mistakes are where we learn from. However, always remember, despite the mistakes we make, we must still have to do the 998 good bricks, the one with no mistakes. Basically, juz learn to forgive urself for certain mistakes, see past it, because these are the things that make u whom u are now!
The Emperor’s 3 Questions
There was once an emperor that wanted to find a religion. However, he was bored with many of the religions, because he felt they were very dull and they did not satisfy what he wanted. So he finally decided that he would choose a religion only if it answered these 3 questions. Firstly, When is the most important time??? Secondly, who was the most important person?? and finally what was the most important thing to do??
now, although there may be difference in each different religion, i believe they all have the same aim which is to promote peace and harmony among people. Therefore, i think no matter what religion u r in, n even if u have no religion, the answers for these 3 questions, would still be meaningful to u. Firstly, when is the most important time?..the answer is..NOW!..yea..many people actually know this one, but the thing is, we usually dont rmb it..but the thing is, the most important time is now, if you wana tell ur parents how much u love them, say it now..if u wana do something good..do it NOW!..because NOW may b the only opportunity u have, every moment of our lives is changing..so we should appreciate every moment of it. hahaha ok? now the 2nd question is more challenging, who is the most important person? hahaha the answer to this question is, THE PERSON YOU ARE WITH. and this applies to all ppl whom wishes to hav a better relationship with the ppl around them..whenever u r with someone, treat them as if they r the most important person in the world..because it really feels unpleasant when u try n talk to someone, but u findout their not really listening, u feel as if u r not important to them. treating them as the most important person shows them tht u do care, tht they r important to u..and even if there really izn anyone around, then u should treat urself as someone important to haha!..but honestly, i bliv this can really help to improve any relationship. and finally, what is the most important thing to do? the answer is simple…TO CARE!…need i say more?..caring is the most fundamental thing in human lives, it is a win win relationship when u show ppl how much u care for them, they too will show how much they care for u..hahaha
The Rich Fisherman
Now, this is a really funny n nice story, i really enjoyed listening to it. Once in Mexico, in a small little fishing village, there lived a fisherman. Everyday, he would wake up and go to fish during dawn when the sun was not yet up, come back when the sun was up. One day, a Harvard Business professor came to the village for a holiday.
He was watching the fisherman come bk from his daily catch that day, and he approached him and said, "hey good sir, why dont you wait longer in the sea? if you waited till noon, your catch would probably be much more."
so the fisherman replied, "seniore, this fish that i have caught is enough for my family’s lunch today, and i can even sell the remaining bits to buy other things for my family’s meal. After this, i will go home and i can have lunch with my wife n children. During noon, i will hav time to play with my children. In the evening, i will go to the canteen and play the guitar with my friends".
So the professor said, "look, u know what? i think i will offer u this free business plan. Tomorrow, u go to sea and come bk by after noon, u will b able to catch at least 3 times more of fish than u do now, then u can sell all the remainings in the market. Soon, u will b able to have enough money to hire some workers. and with workers, u can get more fish, and in 3 months time, u will b able to afford a bigger boat. When u get a bigger boat, u can catch even more fish! and with this fish, u can sell it and gain much more money. After earning enough capital, u can open up a business in a big city, and u can come up with new products to earn even more money! if you follow my plan, im sure by 10 years, u will become a multi millionaire!".
The fisherman listened patiently as the professor explained, and when he finished, the fisherman asked, "then, what would i do with all this money??"
to which the professor replied, "well, with all that money, u can retire young, and u can move to a small little fishing village like the one u live in now, n then u can buy a little boat to go fishing in the morning, u come bk home in the noon to hav lunch with ur wife, u can join ur children playing in the afternoon, and in the evening, u can go n play guitar with ur friends in the canteen"
and so the fisherman says "seniore, thats what i m already doing now" hahaha! it is truly an amazing story and i think the best thing i learn from this is that thing that makes ur richest in the end is not money, but happiness. altho the fisherman had no money, he had happiness, he could spend time with his family and friends and it was really awesome. hahaha
okok..thts all the stories i can tell now, theres still a few more i got, but now i gottago fetch my bro to tusyen hahaha!…hope u guys enjoy the story!!!!
